Status of Tin Mineral Resources according to the Geological Characteristics and Mineralization in Mongolia

A strategy for establishing the supply chain of tin, which is used in various industries, necessary because tin’s and demand are highly dependent on a few countries. Focusing Mongolia as resource-rich country, this study examines current state tin mineral resources characteristics mineralization according to tectonic environment. The magmatic activity that occurred from Late Paleozoic Mesozoic related Mongolia. Most ore bodies occur wolframite–cassiterite–quartz veins postmagmatic hydrothermal type. They were concentrated central eastern region ore-bearing igneous rocks include ongonite, granodiorite-granite, leucogranite, lithium-fluorine granite.
